About
Litaturot is an independent micro-publishing based in Paris, France. We started our work in 2025 with handmade zines and now we have published our first magazine.
We make three kinds of publications: an annual independent print magazine exploring culture, philosophy, literature, and art; handmade zines focused on pop culture and internet culture; and artistic minizines. Each is a standalone edition with its own scope and format.
We publish one magazine issue per year. We also release a number of handmade zines and minizines throughout the year. All editions are standalone, there are no serialised instalments across issues.
The magazine is written and published entirely in English, even though we are based in France.
Each publication varies in format, but details (size, page count, binding) are listed on the product page.
Litaturot is a print-only publication. We are an analogue-first publishing, and believe in the experience of a physical magazine (and that Substack publishing is not a fulfilling experience). We have no plans to release a digital version.

Ordering & Payment
We occasionally participate in festivals and events where you can purchase magazines and zines in person (and meet us). Follow us on social media to stay up to date on where we will be next.
Add the publication to your basket and proceed to checkout. You will be asked for your shipping address and payment details. Once your order is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email.
We accept payment via Stripe, which supports all major credit, debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. All transactions are secure and encrypted. We never store your card details.
All prices are in Euros (€). If you are paying from outside the Eurozone, your bank or card provider will apply their own exchange rate.
If you need to update your shipping address or any other details, contact us as soon as possible at litaturot@gmail.com and we will do our best to amend it before dispatch. We cannot guarantee changes once an order has been processed.
Yes, as long as your order hasn’t been dispatched yet. Get in touch at litaturot@gmail.com and we will cancel it and issue a full refund. Once an order has been shipped, it can no longer be cancelled.
Check your spam or junk folder first, it sometimes ends up there. If it is not there either, drop us an email at litaturot@gmail.com and we will look into it.
Shipping & Delivery
Yes, we ship to most countries worldwide* using La Poste and their international carrier partners.
*Except Afghanistan, Belarus, Haiti, Iran, North Korea, the Palestinian Territory, Russia, Syria and Yemen due to sanctions or geopolitical reasons.
Not at the moment. We currently only ship via La Poste and their international carrier partners. Follow us on social media to stay up to date, local pickup may become available in the future.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your destination and the number of items ordered. As a rough guide:
- Metropolitan France, Monaco, Andorra and Overseas France: starting from €3.60
- Rest of the world: starting from €7.65
There are no hidden fees.
Delivery times vary depending on where you are in the world. As a rough guide:
- Metropolitan France: 3 business days
- European Union: 4-5 business days
- Rest of the world: 7 business days or more
These are estimates only. Delays can occur due to customs processing or carrier circumstances beyond our control.
Please contact us as soon as possible. If your order has not yet been dispatched, we can update it. If it has already shipped, we cannot guarantee changes.
If a package is returned due to an incorrect address or failed delivery, we can reship it, but additional shipping fees may apply.
First, check with your local post office, packages are sometimes held there awaiting collection. If your order is significantly overdue and there is no sign of it locally, contact us at litaturot@gmail.com and we will investigate.
If you are ordering from outside the European Union, customs duties or import taxes may apply upon arrival in your country. These charges are set by your local customs authority and are entirely your responsibility, we have no control over them and cannot predict the amount. We recommend checking your country’s import regulations before ordering.
Returns & Defects
We don’t accept returns. As a print magazine, all sales are final once your order has been dispatched. This is in line with EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(b)), which exempts magazines and periodicals from the standard 14-day right of withdrawal. We are sorry to hear that. Please email us at litaturot@gmail.com within 14 days of receiving your order, with a photograph clearly showing the issue. We will send you a replacement copy free of charge. If we have run out of stock, we will issue a full refund.
If your order went missing while in La Poste’s network or with one of their international partners, we will take responsibility and either resend your order or issue a refund. If the issue occurred after handover to your local postal service, we unfortunately cannot take direct responsibility, but please contact us anyway and we will try to help where we can.
That would be our mistake and we will put it right. Email us at litaturot@gmail.com with your order number and a photo, and we will resolve it as quickly as possible.
